Saturday Preview

Georgia plays at #2 Auburn, and I believe that the Dawgs will win. This sounds ridiculous, and I have no real evidence that they have a chance, I just think the players are playing for their coach, who is in jeopardy of getting fired. Georgia will win this game! Prediction: Georgia 31, #2 Auburn 28

Penn St will actually put up a fight at #9 Ohio St, but the Buckeyes will pull away late. Prediction: #9 Ohio St 34, Penn St 21

#3 TCU takes on upstart San Diego St at home. While I believe the Aztecs will put up a fight for a half, mostly because TCU will have a slight Utah hangover. TCU runs away in the second half. Prediction: #3 TCU 31, San Diego St 14

#25 Texas A&M travels to Waco to take on Baylor. Finally, an A&M vs Baylor game with some Big 12 South impact. It does not have much, but the Aggies got back into the Big 12 South fight with a win over Oklahoma and have an outside chance to win the South, but they have to get past Baylor first, which I believe they will do, barely. Prediction: #25 Texas A&M 35, Baylor 30

#19 Mississippi St travels to Tuscaloosa to play #12 Alabama. While I am impressed by the quick turnaround Dan Mullen has had in Starkville, they are just a little overrated and Bama should handle them pretty easily. Prediction: #12 Alabama 35, #19 Mississippi St 20

#23 South Carolina travels to Gainesville to play #22 Florida. This game will decide the SEC East, and I believe the home-field advantage will be the difference in a close game. Prediction: #22 Florida 26, #23 South Carolina 23

#1 Oregon travels to Berkeley to play Cal. Cal is very tough at home, and may put up a fight for a quarter or so, but let's face it, this game will be won handily by the Ducks. Prediction: #1 Oregon 48, Cal 21

On a fairly uneventful Saturday, hopefully there will be some close games!
