Well, the Spartans survived on a night where they really did not look their best. They struggled from the free throw line, and turned the ball over way more than a typical Izzo team does. Kalin Lucas looked like he has recovered well from his achilles injury last year, and he should be fine going forward. This team has every element needed for a deep March run, they just need to improve the free throw shooting and mesh together as a team better, because the chemistry was inconsistent tonight. For stretches, they looked great but then came back with stretches where they did not even look like a top-25 team. We all know that they will get it together by March, though.
