Miami 35, Georgia Tech 10

While I'm not quite ready to jump off the Jacory Harris bandwagon, this kid Stephen Morris is looking like a star in the making. While he only threw 18 passes, he completed 10 of them with no picks, and 2 of those incompletions were blatant drops. He has an absolute cannon and he does not have the lapses in judgment that Jacory has.
Also, I'm starting to climb back on the Randy Shannon bandwagon, but there are areas he needs to improve. This team, for whatever reason, does not come to play every week. They do not have the swagger of the old national championship Miami teams. He needs to restore the swag and get this team to come to play every single week if we want to become one of the elite teams in the nation once again.
However, it was a great win today, as we finally committed to running the football and it paid off in a big way as we had 3 guys go for over 60 yards, and had 278 as a team. Not to mention, 4 different players had a rushing touchdown. Also, defensively, we played outstanding. It was kind of the bend but don't break philosophy today, but it worked. Sean Spence and Colin McCarthy are absolutely fantastic. This is a bold statement, but I am going to say that they are the best linebacker duo in all of college football. A great win today for the mighty Hurricanes, now let's get from help from the Heels and get back on track to an ACC title! Go 'Canes and Heels!
