These teams are eerily similar, and neither is overly impressive. They both are far too dependent on one player, Pullen for KSU and Delaney for VT. They are both extremely athletic, especially inside. Neither team is real deep inside and neither team is outstanding at shooting threes, though KSU is definitely better. Kansas St does not look even remotely like the #3 team in the nation, and I know they did not have Pullen that half, but there's no way he makes enough difference to put them among the nation's elite. In my season preview, I said Virginia Tech was overrated, and right now, I believe that I'm right. They just do not have enough scorers and do not have anything resembling a true point guard. They are average at best, and will not beat the elite of the ACC.
