#2 Auburn 28, #11 Alabama 27

I would wait to talk about this until my weekend recap, but good heavens, I cannot wait to bash the Tide in this pathetic performance. They get up 24-0 and for all intensive purposes, this game was over. Then, when they got in the red zone, they decided they did not need touchdowns, but field goals would do fine. It was absolutely pathetic. I am so disappointed in Alabama, and especially Nick Saban. This was the worst 3-quarter performance I have ever seen from a Nick Saban team. It was as if they decided that 24-0 was enough and they did not need to do anything else. You cannot let that happen as a coach, and for that, I am extremely disappointed in Saban. Auburn will now play in the national championship, and they do not even deserve it because they have been outplayed in multiple games this year. Boise, Oregon, and TCU have never been outplayed, not even close. I am so disappointed, have I mentioned that? This was pitiful and Saban, whom I regard as one of the best coaches in the game, is responsible. Also, CBS gave the player of the game award to Cam Newton, good heavens. Has any network ever put together a better Heisman campaign than CBS has for Newton? He was 13 of 20 for 216 and had only 39 rushing yards. McElroy, despite the loss had ridiculously better numbers. What a joke, anyways, Go Gamecocks next week.
