Best Player: Josh Hamilton, OF- He is the reigning AL MVP, and although it is disappointing that we will see less of his center field play, he is still one of the best hitters in baseball, and lets hope he can stay healthy
Best Pitcher: CJ Wilson, SP- This is a tough one, with Neftali Feliz and Colby Lewis also in the running. Although Colby was Mr. October for the Rangers last year, CJs regular season was fantastic. He had over 200 innings, went 15-8 with a 3.35 ERA and a WHIP of 1.25. His walks could definitely come down, but he is the de facto ace of this rotation.
Intriguing Player: I would be remiss if I did not say this was Adrian Beltre. We spent a lot of money to get him here and made the face of the franchise mad in the process. But if Beltre provides the defense he traditionally has, the upgrade he provides at third is invaluable, especially in the postseason.
Intriguing Pitcher: This may change midseason, but to start out, this is Alexi Ogando. He earned a spot in the rotation, thanks mostly to injuries, but still could be a nice surprise. I truly believe he could step up and earn the 3rd spot in this rotation.
"Uh-oh" Player: If you watched Spring, you know this is Julio Borbon. His defense was a joke and his offense wasnt much better, but Ron and the staff continue to shove Borbon down our throats.
Predictions: The Rangers will go 87-75, and will win the West by 2 games over the A's
